Composite repair system, Belzona SuperWrap II, offers a new generation repair solution for restoring the strength of holed, weakened and corroded pipe and tank walls. It is comprised of a fluid-grade resin system, a bespoke hybrid reinforcement sheet, based on fibre glass and carbon fibre, as well as a release film to compact and consolidate the application. The tank and pipe repair system is available in three different resin grades, Belzona 1981, Belzona 1982 and Belzona 1983, making it suitable for applications in various climates and service temperatures ranging from -60 °C (-76 °F) up to 150°C (302°F). The Belzona SuperWrap II system is specially designed to facilitate the fast and simple, in-situ repair of through-wall and thin-wall defects on pipes and tank walls. It is a reliable alternative to welding and mitigates the need to replace defective metallic substrates, whilst providing superior strength, chemical and corrosion resistance. The Belzona Flange Face Forming kit is a unique repair kit developed to aid the flange face forming technology in combating the common problems with mating surfaces of flanged joints such as heat distortion, corrosion and erosion. In conjunction with Belzona 2-part epoxy repair composites such as Belzona 1111 (Super Metal) this flange repair kit provides a complete package solution which is simple to implement and cost-effective. Corrosive action of chemicals, crevice corrosion, bimetallic corrosion and high pressure steam can result in the deterioration and subsequent leakage of flanges. Proven for over 10 years, the Belzona flange face forming technology eliminates the need for conventional cut and weld methods involving hot work and allows for the simple application in emergency situations, especially in areas with limited access such as on offshore platforms. The Belzona Flange Face Forming Kit includes all the equipment required to effectively complete a Belzona flange face forming repair, eliminating the need for spare flanges of multiple sizes. It contains 6 reusable plastic formers to repair the most common flange sizes found in the industry, as well as all other necessary application tools for a quick and easy repair.
A leak-sealing kit containing a 5cm x 150cm / 2in x 60in fiberglass pre-impregnated wrap which is activated by water. Packaged in a hermetically sealed foil pouch, it is ready to use and does not require any measuring or mixing. It is odourless and very simple to apply. This material bonds well to copper, steel, SS, PVC and many other substrates. Belzona 9631 is a versatile solution for industries where quick-action pipe repairs are critical.
Belzona 8311 (Nato Fluid) is a multi-purpose lubrication system for penetrating and releasing seized components caused through lack of lubrication at assembly or corrosion in service. This versatile lubricant consists of a blend of ionic and non-ionic molecules with both water-repellent (hydrophobic) and water seeking (hydrophilic) properties, providing an easily applied solution for long-term protection in aggressive environments. Belzona 8311 (Nato Fluid) is supplied with a spraying pump for easy application by spray, brush or dripping.
A pre-assembly material for metal components subject to high temperature which prevents seizure, corrosion, pitting, galling and thread distortion. Specially formulated for application to mating surfaces of nuts, bolts, couplings, sprockets, pulleys and other components, this multi-purpose and metal-free compound resists vibration, contraction, expansion, corrosion, chemicals and temperatures up to 1100°C (2000°F). Belzona 8211 (HP Anti-Seize) will not corrode or react with dissimilar metals. It is suitable for application to most metal substrates including chrome, molybdenum, vanadium, titanium, stainless steel and nimonics.
Belzona 7311 is a fatigue resistant adhesive, optimised for structural bonding applications requiring high mechanical strength, cleavage and shear resistance. Belzona 7311 is ideally suited for bonding applications subjected to cyclic and repeated load. As a specially designed adhesive, it offers the perfect alternative to mechanical fastenings/fixings and can be a viable alternative to welding, eliminating any need for hot work, making it a safe yet high-performance solution. This easy to mix product requires no specialist tools or equipment for application and cure and is suitable for both dry and wet service up to 60 °C (140 °F). With a high amount of performance data available from the development and testing of Belzona 7311, customers have the ability to perform finite element analysis (FEA) and model bonded assemblies. This allows a client to simulate the stresses the adhesive will experience in service to satisfy themselves that the Belzona 7311 solution is capable of performing against real-world forces it will be subjected to in use.
Belzona 7211 is a three-component, 100% solids, VOC free epoxy system suitable for deep pour grouting of large machine bases, setting large levelling wedges and sole plates. It offers rapid strength development, superior creep resistance, and minimal shrinkage. This product is ideally suited for the repairs performed on horizontal surfaces where self-leveling capabilities are required. This grouting compound flows into the spaces under the large machinery and fills completely before solidifying. Belzona 7211 is offered in two different flowability levels: standard and high to meet various application requirements.
A cost-effective, 2-part, 100% solids chocking/grouting material designed to endure the physical and thermal shock common to marine environments. Belzona 7111 is pourable and is specially formulated to spread out evenly across irregular surfaces. It is ideal for pouring foundations for heavy ship propulsion systems and other heavy equipment where alignment, and anchorage are essential.
A two-part zinc rich epoxy resin designed for the coating of metallic surfaces to provide corrosion protection. This solvent based material is ideal in marine and industrial environments where long-term corrosion resistance is required. Belzona 6111 (Liquid Anode) is easy to mix and can be applied by brush or by spray without the need for specialist tools. It will cure at room temperature, eliminating the need for hot work.
A 2-part epoxy coating applied by brush or heated airless spray for corrosion protection of metallic surfaces in contact with aqueous solutions at temperatures up to 95°C (203°F). This solvent-free material offers good chemical resistance against a wide range of chemicals and protects equipment from the effects of corrosion, salt, water and environmental damage. It will cure at ambient temperature without the need for additional heat, eliminating health and safety hazards. Belzona 5892 exhibits low surface bloom and excellent inter-coat adhesion enabling 2-coat application without the need for frost blasting. It has been formulated in light colours to assist visibility and provide good inspection characteristics in poorly lit vessels. This material can also be used for the creation of irregular load bearing shims with good electrical insulation characteristics.
Belzona 5871 is a two-component, polymeric, solvent free system providing a thermal insulation barrier with corrosion protection and thermal and sub- zero “cool-to-touch” properties. This material is designed to be applied to metal pipework, ducting and other industrial equipment. Belzona 5871 is thermally insulating, providing protection against contact-burn injuries, eliminates corrosion/CUI, condensation and anti-icing, improving safety and durability. Belzona 5871 can be applied by brush, cartridge or plural spray, expanding upon application to produce a lightweight, closed-cell foam. This reduces the surface temperature of metallic substrates to below 60°C (140°F) whilst providing corrosion protection.
A solvent-free, single-component epoxy coating, which cures in contact with hot surfaces and is designed to prevent or protect metal from corrosion under insulation (CUI). Belzona 5851 (HA-Barrier) can be easily applied by brush and does not require any weighing or mixing. This heat-activated material can be applied directly onto hot surfaces (70-150°C / 158-302°F) with minimal surface preparation, avoiding production downtime. Once cured, it provides outstanding corrosion protection. Also available is Belzona 1251 (HA-Barrier), a heat-activated epoxy repair composite which can be used in fill pitting and bond equipment among other applications.
